Who we are 

Nón Lá is at home in the impressive, unique ambience of the Alte Markthalle in Basel.

You will find a large selection of freshly prepared, authentic Vietnamese dishes. We also offer a varied buffet for lunch (Mon to Fri). You can also try our fried noodles, which you can put together to suit your taste.

Naming

Nón Lá is the name of the typical Vietnamese conical hat made from bamboo and palm leaves. It is mainly worn by people who work outdoors - to protect them from the sun and rain.

To a certain extent, it is a symbol of Vietnam and is therefore automatically associated with the country by many people.
